Scioto County EMA is informing all Scioto County schools of a law enforcement exercise being held at Shawnee State University on Thursday, Oct. 3rd and Friday, Oct. 4th. THIS IS ONLY AN EXERCISE. A large presence of law enforcement Special Response Teams SRT/SWAT) from several counties will be at SSU for this exercise. Please monitor your school's social media for misinformation or rumors that may be posted pertaining to an active aggressor at SSU. Also, feel free to share this information with your parents and staff. Please check your email for a press release. Call Scioto County EMA at 740-355-8300 with questions.

PCSD Open House will be on Wednesday, August 21st from 5:00-6:30pm for all schools (EPE, PES, and PHS). Meet the teams will follow in the Main Gym at PHS.
Portsmouth City Schools are currently under a soft lockdown. This means traffic is limited into and out of the buildings. There is no immediate threat of danger, and instruction is continuing as usual.

May 6th - 10th is Teacher Appreciation Week. We appreciate our teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, custodians, secretaries, and all support staff.

The FAFSA Workshop scheduled for tonight, Thursday 2/15/24 at 6pm at PHS has been postponed due to illness.
