The Bridge Project

The Bridge Project seeks to solve child poverty in the United States. Launched in 2021, it is one of the nation’s largest unconditional cash programs for babies. The Bridge Project, a non-profit organization serving over 2,000 babies across three states, has now brought their successful program to parts of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. Applications are open NOW for 500 moms to receive flexible, unconditional cash for three years. Guidelines for this project include living in a designated county in Ohio, KY, and WV (Pike County is one of those counties), must be 18 years of age or older, must be 14 weeks pregnant or less, and have an annual household income under $44,000.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis for eligibility, and eligible program participants are selected by lottery. Applications will remain open until all program slots have been filled.
