active shooter response training

The Portsmouth City School District and the Portsmouth Police and Fire Departments will be conducting Active Killer Interdiction training, Wednesday, 16 April, between 7am-3pm. The training will be for officers, firefighters, and PCSD staff. It will focus on each agency’s preparedness, response, and post-incident protocols in the event of an Active Threat.

The training has been months in the planning and is part of an annual ongoing training between PCSD and first responders.

The training is closed to the public and NO students will be present.
